In relation to a licensing agreement, the licensor commenced ICC arbitration against our client, a leading French biotech company. Alongside a leading US law firm, we obtained an ICC award rejecting the majority of the claims raised by the opposing party and confirming a significant part of our client's position.
At the end of the dispute, the parties continued to perform the agreement whose economic viability was not called into question. The arbitration helped to clarify the scope of the parties' respective obligations.
