Alongside our esteemed Mauritian colleagues at Afralaw (Anne-Sophie Julienne), we defended before the English Privy Council a USD 20 million award rendered by an arbitral tribunal sitting in Mauritius.
Thanks to a real team spirit between our respective teams, we secured the full rejection of the application raised against the arbitration award, which was declared enforceable, and the opposing party was ordered to bear the costs of the proceedings.
